Has anybody experienced some problems with "Analyses by Dimensions"?

The values in this inquiry are wrong . They don´t match with the values in our Chart of Account. This is now the second time within the last 6 months that this problem happens.
We are running batch update of our analyses (not at each transaction) and place all G/L bookings in Standard Journalsentries.

By building -up a new analyse , every thing is fine, so the data in the tables seems to be allright. :o

    It this your problem ?

Navision GUI guidelines do not permit an extra row showing blank values...

    Suggested Solution :
You should create a totaling value in your dimension with totaling formula '' (single quote twice)
Then it should be possible to see the blank values in the Analysis by dimension form.

Analyses by Dimensions is based on Table 355 (Ledger Entry Dimension) and not on Table 17 (G/L Entry).

    Hie!

If you have a account no. let's say 35 which you use as a Begin-total account and you have a 3599 which you use as a End-total with Totaling 35..3599, showing this in "Analyses by Dimensions" will be wrong. The account no 3599 will be the sum of amounts of all accounts from the number 35 to 3599, which will include 1400, 3000 and so on because the field G/L account no. i Analysis View Entry is a code-field, and not a text-field. And this means Navision reads the totaling 35..3599 as the sum of account no. 35 + 36 + 37 + ... + 1400 + ... + 3010 and so on when showing this in "Analyses By dimensions".

    Best Regards from Bente
