PO gets deleted

Is it the normal behavior of Navision that the Purchase Order gets deleted after it has been invoiced completely? Is there anything like Posted PO?

Hello,
Yes, this is normal - All the information on the Purchase Order is copied to the Posted Receipt Note (If you use them) & the Posted Purchase Invoice, so no data is lost.
If you have a more recent version of Navision (3.10, 3.60 or 3.70), there is an "Archived Quotes/Orders" module available for post Purchase & Sales where you can manually "Archive" a copy of a document at any point. For a couple of our customers, we have made a small mod to the system so that it "Auto-archives" the document before posting it off completely & deleting the order.
It is not such a good idea to keep "Posted Orders" in the tables used by unposted documents (Purchase Header & Purchase Line) because this eventually slows the system down.Edward Bloomfield
