Invt. Accrual Acc. (Interim) Account

I have a balance in my "Invt. Accrual Acc. (Interim)" account. If I were to do a year end to clear out the Income Statement and the actual cost realizes only after the year end, will I have a negative in my "Invt. Accrual Acc. (Interim)"
