Disappearing Buttons in Toolbar

Running Navision Attain 3.60A
After working a while in a session as a client (On PC under Win98 2nd ed) the Buttons in the Tool Bar start disapearing when I mouseover. The Functionality is still present but I cannot see the Buttons.
A log off/Log oncycle will fix that temporarily.
It seems that the more I edit forms or report the sooner in the session the Buttons will start disappearing.
When that becomes unworkable I clear the Zup and things work well for a while.
When that happens the Yahoo bar buttons in Explorer tend to disapear as well!
any Idea?
