Set Off, Frieght meaning

Hi Masters,

What is the Meaning of frieght. Is it nothing but transport charges ?
Could u explain on this issue.
When a customer will have to pay Frieght ?

What is use of SetOff field in Excise setup . (India Localization).

E-Cess Setoff field in Excise Setup : It will make the credit of E-cess on purchase availble for adjustment with Excise payable on sales.

Payment of freight by customer : This is more of a bussiness concept rather than Navision . In refernce to Navision you can user structure (Indian Localization ) or charge item to include freight in the invoice. You need to understand the bussiness requirement for getting thorough knowledge of the same.
