Menusuite Hide/show problem

We have a user who has hidden an item in the menu suite. The problem is that now when he wants to show it again it is not listed.

We do not think that this is in the zup file because we get the same problem when we log in with the user on another machine?

Our theory is that the system table: User Menu Style is handling this information? But we have no idea how to reset the user so that he can again show this field in the menu suite. We even tried to delete the user and make him again.

Anybody who has a solution for this? We would rather not give the user a new login as a large amount of setup is connected to this user…

enter the Navigation pane designer option in Tools menu, right-click the item in the menusuite and enter the Assign users option. there you can check which users are assigned to that item
