can C/ODCB refer to table and field names ?

I connect via C/ODBC to different Navisison-Databases in Germany, Austria and W1, so the table captions and field captions for the same tables are changing.
Is is possible to refer to table- and field names, or better to table and field ID´s?

Put in your C/ODBC settings (button Options) the language to Neutral.
Then you canyou in all languages the English captions in your SQL statement.
Furthermore it is advisable to use A-Z, a-z, 0-9 so that all different characters in the fieldnames are replaced by underscores.
These are my experiences coupling hand held radio terminals to Navision through C/ODBC.
