Business Analytics Configurator and SQL Agent

Hi all,

I'm trying to run the BA Configurator on NAV 5.0/SQL 2005. The process runs great until it gets to the "Create SQL Agent Job" then it craters.

The BA.log file is absolutely useless in assisting with the troubleshooting. It just ends after this:

9:27:55 AM: Execute SSIS Package
Execute package "DEFAULT BA Database"
9:41:29 AM: Create SSIS Package (Part 2)
Create sequence "Process Cubes"

At first, I though it was a rights issue with the NAV user, but the user has a SUPER role in NAV and every security right possible in MSSQL2005.

Any thoughts,

Hi,

I'm having the same problem here when I run the BA Configurator. The installing process window dissapears and there is no error message. The BA log ends with " Create sequence "Process Cubes" ".

Is there any tip to solve this? MarkD33 have you fixed this?

Which Service Pack are you using in SQL Server? SP2?

I am also facing the same error. I am installing the basic of business analytics,it installing fine till it reaches the Create SQL Server Job Agent. It remains on waiting status and Installation crashes. Any insight would be much appreciated.

The issue got resolved. I downloaded the latest configurator.exe from partner source.Its worked fine
