Hello there

got a question regarding Does navision 5.0 support a 64 bit SQL environment?

another question is does implementation of the Navision 5.0 require mixed mode authentication or windows authentication?

64bit - better peformance an 32bit will not be supported on servers in next years

mixed mode - because sometime you need to use database logins to authenticate into NAV...

Even if you plan to have only "Windows Authenticated" users, set up mixed mode and create at least one DB Login (SUPER).

If your Windows domain fails you can still get into Navision.

If the Navision DB is moved off your network domain it will be accessible.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

Also Consultants that need to connect to the but are not on the network can only use database authentication.
