Sales Quotes, Sales Orders and Jobs

Hello,
I am currently testing Nav5 (french version).
We are using Nav4 SP2 and we are using a lot the job module.
Our business process alway goes like this:
Job costing (Budget)
Quote
Order
Do the work (Hours, Items, other costs)
Invoice (based on the customer order)
I like especially the new Nav5 "Budget". Unfortunately the is no connection between the Ouotes/Orders and the "Contract"-Planning Lines.
Does anyone has good ideas to connect the budget with quotes and orders?
Like now, I can only create invoices from the budget, but I have no overview about my orders... and no connection to the quotes.
By the way, the field "Job No." is not in Sales Header and Purchase Header anymore. Does not make things easier for me.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm about to face the problem you're facing now.
I have not made a design yet for this customiation.
But I'm pretty sure Job No. has to be added to the Sales Header and Sales Line.
And I think on a sales lines you have to group lines which have to be connected to the same job task line.
And you'll need a report or codeunit to generate the right budget.
Like I wrote; I've not yet started..
I'll let you know what kind of solution I made.

Did you find what you were looking for ?
i'm interested by this answer... Should I fill Job No. In "Lines" tables ?(even if it's the same for all the lines ? ).
It's also here :

I've created two extra fields Job No and Job Task No on the Purchase Header and edited the OnInsert of the Purchase Line.
If Job No on header is filled, job no. on the line is filled automaticly.
Same for the Job Task No.
