Hi,
I have installed Business analytics basics and able to use the pivot table in excel. when i installed analytics advanced client and run the configurator from the explorer, the configurator stops at the step "Start Advanced Server Service".
can anyone help me to solve this.

1) Check the .log files in the BA configurator folder
2) Check Event Log for any error or warning
3) Try to run the service manually
After you found some more info about the problem, post it and may be someone will know the answer.
