NAV 5.0
On entering a new salesorderline, I choose
-type = G/L account
- nr = 12345
Upon leaving the NR field, Nav throws an erromessage:
ITEM 12345 does not exist ](*,)
What am I missing here???
I may not be totally perfect, but parts of me are excellent.

Well logically, if you are entering G/L Account 12345, you must have that in your G/L Accounts. The same if you are entering item, you must have set it up on the item card.
problem is solved: coding error in business logic in customer code!
