Storing, Opening, Import excel file

Hi all,
In Interaction Templates (Administration ->Application Setup->Sales & Marketing->Interaction->Interaction Templates) we can attach word file.

Is same example available for excel file anywhere in Navision?

I don't believe it's available anywhere. But you can store excel files as blob files and open them without using templates.

Hi upasanisandip,

Navision has a full set of file(BLOB) operating functions including import, export, open, show, remove. BLOB file type can save any file format as you like and open function invokes OS shell command to open the file you saved before, no need to worry about that, as long as you OS has configurated file extension handling application (Explore -->Tools --> Folder Options--...).

You can find all the functions you need in "Attachment" table with ID 5062.
