Navision ODBC driver

i am running Navision 4.0 and i have also installed the Navision 4 ODBC driver but yet still anytime i want to run the Navision sql client it complians of my ODBC drivers out of date, i should update it. Do anyone knows how to solve this?

    1. Check your Net Type.
    2. Check the version of your navision database and the version of your navision client, it should be the same.

    Are you running Navision SQL? The Navision ODBC (N/ODBC) driver is for the native database only.
    There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

    I am running SQL server not the Native.

    In this case you do not need C/ODBC or N/ODBC bt common MS SQL ODBC driver.

    Does ms sql server 2005 has ODBC driver, updated?? Because i am running sql 2005 but is still asking me for ODBC driver. I am also running vista. Funnily i tried this on an xp pc and it connected fine.

    You are running older NAV version (without SP or with SP1 or SP2) which are not Vista compatible. Please, upgrade to SP3 + platform updates to run NAV on Vista. Search this forum for more info about Vista and NAV.
