Transfer Order with Bin code

Dear Friends,

I want a clarrification in Transfer Order.

Ex:

When I Transfer items from Location1 Bin1 to Location2 Bin2, after posting the shipment and receipt of the transfer order, the items are transferred to Location2 with the item serial numbers successfully but the Bin2 code is not updated in the Location2 i.e. the Item Ledger Entry Table is not effected with the Bin2 code.

Now the items are in the Location2 but the bin code is not effected. So it is difficult to know in which Bin code the items are in because the Location2 which i am using for making a Sales order has Bin code Mandatory.

Please explain me why it happens so.

    Have you changed the "Transfer-To Bin Code" on the Transfer Order line?

    Yes I have given the Transfer from Bin code and Transfer To Bin code in the Transfer Order lines.

    When I make shipment of the Transfer Order the Bin code of From Location is getting updated in the Intransit location and when i make Receipt of the Transfer order the Bin2 code of the Location2 is not getting updated.


    Please help me out
