Text conversion error

JBeckJBeck Member Posts: 68
Hi there,

I'm getting this error:
"There are errors in the text conversion(text no. 1963-0 does not exist in the .stx file) Internal error: 47-1"

Can someone explain to me what's wrong and how I can solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,
JBeck

Are you trying to run 4.0 SP3 with build 23305 on Vista?

Hm :-k .. did you try a reinstall?
Which build are you running on?
You get the errors on all clients? If no, on which clients (OS)?

    Hi!

I have the same problem as above ("There are errors in the text conversion(text no. 1963-0 does not exist in the .stx file) Internal error: 47-1") when i try to connect JetReports 5.3.1 to a navision database.

I am using Navision 4.0 Sp3 build 23305 (Client and SDK) on windows XP.

Notice that I reinstalled everything but i am still getting the same error message.

Any ideas for fixing this problem will be very helpful.

    Thanks!

Well, all I can say is that 4.0Sp3 is not the most stable version ever made. Try to go to update 8, if you can, and see if you still have the same problem.

If not, it's due to the client in my opinion.

You can find an overview here.

I get a slightly different message (text no. 1965-0 does not exist in the .stx file). I am trying to install 5.0 and create a new NAV SQL DB instance. I am running XP and already have 4.03 running on my machine.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks-

did you do a decent install, or just copy over the client folder?

    Waldo-

This was a fresh install. The NAV 5.0 is in a separate install folder from 4.03.
