upgrade to nav 4.0

Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade to 4.0
So some questions :
- The toolkit talk about multilanguage, english ....
But on my nav2.60, all object from the base version are in english.
table 18 is "Customers", all reference fields to items numbers are like "Item No.", so I think I can pass this chapter ? is it true ?

- I'm on a sql database.
I simply try to restore my current database with a 4.0 client (without upgrading the objects)
On my old databse, on sql server, navision tables are like that "company name S.P.R.L.$Cust. Invoice Disc."

On my new database, it's "company name S_P_R_L_$Cust_ Invoice Disc_"

all dots a replaced by _, and it's the samewith fields name


I don't see any reference to that on the upgrade documentation.

Is it normal, or what is wrong ? (I have several other softxare that access
navision database, so I don't want to modify all ...)

regarding the dots in table names: look at "File-Database-Alter-Integration-Remove characters" string. If you remove the dot, NAV will not replace dot with underscore. But it is on your own danger, because dots in table names can be a problem...
