since you are on 3.1 I can assume this is a new problem or have you always had this problem?
Are you saying Nav is fine if you disable the screensaver?
How's the hard drive space to save nav temp files?
are you using power/enery setting with windows?
Probably an old problem that has just now been brought to light....Disabling the screensaver does nothing, the only fix we have found so far killing the session and starting a new one...
Hard drive space is OK, and we are using the power/energy settings....
have you tried making the power management setting "always on" and then using the screensaver. instead of both or the other way around.
It could be a problem with the 3.1 executables and the problem was resolved in later exe versions 3.6 or 3.7?
How long are these pc left alone befoer the management kicks in?
you can use programs from www.expandit.com or www.autocloseidle.com that will auto close a client after a period of time. just make that time a minute shorter than when the power mangement kicks in.
No, we haven't tried making the power management setting "always on" and then using the screensaver......we will try that.....thanks for the response...
