Interfacing with Barcode Scanning devices.

As a new Navision Developer I would like advice on the best way to send information from a scanning device to the DB. eg Inventory figures. I am also interested in sending out information eg the Activities Due list from Contact Management.
Typically use Symbol Scanners models SPT 1700 ro SPT 2700.

    Jane,

    Navision's Advanced Distribution Barcoding granule does just this through an OCX control. I would contact your NSC and ask about this granule. Also, I am aware that there have been OCX also developed through other NSCs that interface with Symbol and Intermec as well.
