Hi Experts,

I have installed PDF995 (orginal version).

But I couldn't find the automation variable in the list.

Can anyone please help me?

Only Vista is still a problem. They even offer a bounty for people who can solve it:

I'm waiting for proper Vista support for over a year now.
:-k I don't feel too motivated to use unsupported freeware.

We're using eDoc for simple PDF challenges and AmyUni for the more complex ones.

    Hi Dear,

Try for Amyuni PDF instead of PDF995. Its very difficult to achieve using PDF995 and lots of experts have tried it also...

    We will :-k

No, it's easy to use PDF995.

The only thing you have to do is create the pdf995.ini file. For syntax, just try using PDFedit995. This tool will modify the pdf995.ini file according to your settings in PDFedit995. After the pdf995.ini file is created, you just have to print your report to the PDF995 printer, and the printer will follow the commands in the pdf995.ini file.
I've build a solution several years ago, and it just works great on all OS.

    Hi,

I just working with PDF995 and have problems getting Outlook 2007 to process the instructions in the pdf995.ini file.
It works for some parameters like 'Email Subject' but not for 'Email Recipient Address' and also it ignores the paramteter SMTP=1, which should send off the emails without user input.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    SK
