Subcontracting - which granule does it belong to?

TomasTomas Member Posts: 420
IF I want to use subcontracting in manufacturing, I'll have to use work center, routings, subcontracting worksheets, purchase orders, etc.

How can I find out, which granules will I need? As I am looking at price list of granules, I can only guess... to which granule subcontracting would belong.

Could anyone show me directions on how to find which functionality belongs to which granules? Thanks.

    My way of doing things:
    1. with developers license go through all activities were subcontracting is used (with code coverage on)
    2. look which objects were used, track them in GranuleList.xls (which can be found in downloads section) and find to which granules they belong
    3. check the price and prerequisites for each granule used in Dynamics_NAV_Pricelist (can be downloaded from Microsoft Partnersource).

However, it's really time consuming. Is there any faster way, of checking which granules you need for some specific functionalities?
