Transaction Type Property in Report

Hi Friends

I want to know about Transaction Type Property in a Report

When I'm runnig one report with transaction type Propery -Update.I can see my ID is making blocks for another users.
Will Report running Makes Blocking for another users??

Which Transaction Type is Preffereble when we run a Report for huge amount of Data

Look into on-line help for more info. You do not need to change the transaction type if you are just reading. If you are updating data, you can change the transaction type to have different behaviour (it is working like if you use LOCKTABLE at the beginning in some trans. type etc.)
