Behavior of code datatype in navision

hi

Can anyone pls tell me how do code datatype behaves while used in setrange function.

Is there any diff in its behavior with native database and sql database in navision.

    The filtered recordset is be the same in native / SQL server. Sorting could be different.

    If you populate sql tables also with applications different from nav.
    or you use some store procedures to populate code fields, remember that nav does not recognise codes in lowercase

    Even worse: NAV freaks out on this and then you have to fix it on SQL.
