NAV/Navision Classic Client
Hi, anybody know is there C/AL code that will allow me to shutdown a Nav client safely (i.e. without corrupting the DB) and then proceed to shutdown the PC? :?:

i do know that if you type at the dos prompt:
shutdown -r (Shutdown & Restart) I think you get 30 seconds to finish what you are doing before shutdown.
shutdown -l (Shutdown & Logoff)
for more options type shutdown only.
try it with the shell command.
Perhaps you can google for some CPU monitor and will show zero useage so you know the computer is not doing anything at the time of shutdown.
something like this maybe?
