I have a client running navisino 2.6. They want to run commerce portal, but do not want to upgrade. Is there anywhere I can find informatin regarding Navisin 2.6 and the commerce portal for it?
Be aware Mike, Web Shop and Commerce Portal are nowhere near the same product.
CP was a totally redesigned product built on Commerce Server.
The big problem you'll have is getting the NAS working between Navision and the Commerce Portal...why not simply upgrade and get the benefits of a newer and more stable version 3.70?
This client has a very low budget and does not want to fix what is already working. However, I spoke with MS, and they will be discontinuing support at the end of this year, so everything is on our side to talk them into upgrading...they just don't want to spend too much money....So basically you are saying that the 2.6 version sucks?
no, it's just a little bit more difficult to get it up and running. But after that it will work fine.
Like MuzzyDawg said, the big difference is that for CP Commerce Server has been used and for the WebShop Site Server 3.0 (which is no longer supported by MS but i'm not sure about this).
We as a NSC have two 2.6 webshops running with no problem.
Greetings,
Now, let's see what we can see.

Maybe you can talk Michael Kulik who is president of Digital Vantage Point Inc. I worked there before and I know they have a product called Nav-to-Net.
