ODBC & ISAM

I'm trying to access Nav GB2.01B via the CODBC driver 2.11.02.1507. I've installed the driver and set up a DS with the options 1)All Characters and 2)Integers set. The Database name is browsed to and the Company name is set as "CRONUS UK Ltd." without the quotes. The connection is local and the Program Folder box is empty. All other settings are default.
If I try to connect, using MS Query as a connection tester, after a long wait I get the message "ISAM error". When I try VB the same happens.
Can someone recommend a solution - we had given up on Nav CODBC because we've heard so many bad things about it - however there seem to be plenty of people here who are using it sucessfully ?

The program folder should contain the directory where you have installed the Navision client, I think.
  • Still the same problem - I'm starting to think that this version of ODBC doesn't work at all - but NF doesn't seem to have a list of what does
