NAV CRM offline usage

Hi,

I am looking for a way to use NAV CRM (not Microsoft Dynamics CRM!) offline on notebooks and to synchronize it from time to time with the database server. Are there existing solutions or would we have to develop it?

Best regards,

There might be existing solution, I don't know.

I guess Microsoft tries to avoid building this by promoting the outlook integration. I must say, the latest version of outlook integration is pretty good. You can get about everything of every table into outlook.

But I guess it would involve much outlook development and NAV configuration to do something you're looking for... .

    Hi Waldo,

I had a look at the new Outlook synchronzation (NAV 5.0 brochure) and it looks very much like what I am looking for.
Why do you think that it would be much work? As far as I can see, you simply have to display all required fields in Outlook in order to be able to display/modify/add information there.

Depends on what you want to show offline, off course . And also how you want to show it.

    Glad I could help you :) .
