Hi experts,

I could not understand what type of dimension s can assign to a item.
Even cronus company ( DEMO) did not provide any examples regarding dimensions to item.
Cronus company has dimensions to customer, vendor. But it did not have any dimensions to Item
Please throw some examples . I can implement according to my requirement.

On item you can have dimensions like "Item type (Material etc.)", or some other attribute of the item which you want to use for analysis. But In most cases you can solve this through attributes on the card and you do not need to use dimension for that. Use the dimension just only if it is the must. Each dimension means additional writes, space etc and have impact to the system (mainly if you are on MS SQL).

Item Category is one dimension you can use if you want to use inventory analysis report.
