How to make Menu Button Pop-Up

Hi all,

The Menu Button in the form Pop's-up when the User clicks it. But it should be Poped-up when a mouse focuses on the menu button.


Is it possible to make. If yes how?

Any suggestions......

I know you are referring to a javascript functionality,It could be possible in the future maybe NAV 6.0 and greater

It doesn't work like that in NAV. You can assign shortcut keys to it, but there is no event on mouseover.

I'm afraid not.
Dynamics Client is based on metadata ... comes down to the fact that the UI is quite "fixed", and that there is very little to customize on that level.

This is a very common functionality in a .NET Form adding javascript to enhance the User Interface but if NAV is moving into a .NET Environemnt and not able to do that...thats a worry!

Don't worry. I'm talking about the next version, not the next versions.

I know that some day, there were custom controls on the scope, and I can imagine that one day, after 6.0, it will be on scope again .
