    Hello,

MS Project & Navision are really for two different purposes.

MS Project is a product intended purely for Project Management control, task management, Gantt charts, meeting deadlines etc.

Navision's Jobs & Resources is for tracking and controlling Resources and Project costs and then producing an invoice to bill the customer at the end - Budgeting & Accounting. You can produce a basic budget but you could not produce a project plan using Navision.

They are complementary products, not competeing ones.

There is no area in NAV titled Project Management - It is handled by the Jobs & Resource Planning areas. If these do not show on your Menu Pane then either they have been hidden or you you not have the licence for them.

The Navigation button is a global feature of intended to help you search for related entries and documents - It appears in the Jobs and Resource ledgers, but is not a part of the Jobs/Resources as such...
