Outlook integration with other e-mail server

Does anyone tried Outlook integration with an e-mail server other than Exchange Server?

There are tools that integrate with Lotus, but no experience there... .

In the solution profiler, you can search for ISV solutions.

I'm interestered in Linux e-mail servers not Lotus.

That is going to be quite a heavy customization, I'm afraid. I don't know of any solution out there .
