NAV 3.60 SQL / XML from MSMQ -> Textfields squared

Hi,
I'm having a curious problem. I work for a customer having NAV 3.60 [Build 15069] on SQL 2000. Reading MSMQ XMLs and inserting into database tables, only Interger and Decimal fields are inserted correctly.
The data in Text and Code fields is only a "square"-sign like this: ◘
The XML in the MSMQ is totally clean and the same code works on a lot of other NAV installations out there, also on SQL.
It seems to be a problem with the NAV 3.60 SQL Client. I even copied this 80GB Database to make a technical update to NAV 3.70.B just for my own and all the code works as expected. No more squares. There is a newer NAV 3.60 SQL Client Version out there [Build 18616], but with this version i even cannot open the database however...
Has anyone an idea how to solve this problem? I'm looking forward to your answers!
