Databases from different countries

Hi,

How to deal when we have a customer which is a multisite organization i.e. in different coutries?

Can we consolidate the databases of different countries into one database so that objects from different databases can be accessed in one or what is the procedure to be followed?

If localizations does not affect posting data, breaking country laws, and so on... than you can use only one database.
You also have to enable all languages, repair reports,
otherwise, you have to make changes in code. And that can be a big work to do.

It depends on how much each "local" version is customized to fullfill needed local request of local authorities....

It is too complex to answer. Deciding to merge different localisations or use separated databases is critical. merging can take a lot of time testing, coding etc.
Search for Merge&Comapre toolkit in Download section (I hope it is still there...)
