Two sourcetable on a form?

Hi. I'm rather new to this. Could someone kindly assist me?

I have two tables.

Customer having fields of name, contact no.
Contact having fields of contact no, type.

I'm creating a form displaying all of the customer information. Meaning my sourcetable will be customer. But I also would like to display type(from contact table) on my existing form. How do I go about it?

Thanks.

    Hi,

    Set a variable ie Contact Datatype Record Sub Type Contact

    in the AfterGetRecord function
    IF Contact.GET("Contact No.") THEN;

    Place a Textbox on your form and in the SourceExpr put Contact.Type

    Hope this helps.

    It doesn't seem to be working. It returns error.

    Slight changes:

    Customer: name, contact no., address
    Contact Info: contact no., contact type

    contact no. (code,10)
    contact type (text,30)

    does that mean upon setting a variable it should be..

    cont Datatype Record Sub Type Contact Info

    IF cont.GET("contact no.") THEN;

    Place a Textbox on your form and in the SourceExpr put cont."contact type"

    _____________________________________________

    then how do i relate the contact no. in both tables into the form?

    Help plz.. Thanks..

    The relation is in the code "IF cont.GET("contact no.") THEN; ". This will get the record connected to the main record through contact no. field.

    It is working not as "connecting two tables" but "get the additional info for the record I am focused on into variable and show the data from there".
