Finished Good with multiple BOM

Hi there
I would like to know if NAV can handle finished good with multiple BOM. Currently one Item card can only link to one BOM. So, if there are 2 or 3 ways to produce a specific finished good, how to handle the situation. By the way, i cant use "version" to handle the situation as NAV can only have one active version at any point of time. I cant have two active versions work at the same time.
