Got my answer, new pre-req granules are also granted FOC as well.

When upgrading to 5.0 from a 3.7 microsoft states the following

"Existing customers may have their existing granules upgraded to the new granules, free of charge, in accordance with the table below as part of upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0."

The granules are shown below however what is not covered is what happens when the new granules consits of new prerequisites to run?

In my example Outlook integration required on 2 granules prior to 5.0 now it requires 6 granules adding several k to the cost of the upgrade just to retain the same functionality.

Has anyone encountered this scenario so far and if so how was it handled by microsoft?
