outlook Synchronization with Navision is not working

Hi,
I have installled in the outlook synchronization add in from Nav 5.0 disc. In the outlook, i got the tool bar for synchronization with Navision.
In the settting (in the connection tab), i selected the server type as Microsoft Sql Server.
In the server name i selected the correct server name, but when i go for selecting the database, i m getting the error-"Login failed for <> user".
if i type the database name and click on the company then, we are getting the error "could not connect or open the database".

    the outlook synchro does not work! that is countersigned from microsoft.
    the problem can first be fixed in the first quarter of 2008 with the SP1...

    well, under certain conditions NAV and outlook configuration seems to work (however, without any reassurance, that it works correctly).

    anyway, according to microsoft it is still under development and in BETA testing. therefore, implementation of outlook integration with nav for clients is still not recommended.
