By default NAV (SQL) does not support the following code pages on the machine that the client is running: 932, 936, 949, 950.
You need to change your Regional & Language Options / Advanced / "Language for non-Unicode programs", to a locale that does not use any of these code pages. The code pages are used by these locales: Japanese, Chinese, Korean.Dean McCrae - Senior Software Developer, NAV Server & Tools
