Reservation

Hi All,
I am creting a sales order at one location, let location "A".
And i just want to reserve the same items, which is available at location "B".

Is it functionaly possible in navision, If yes then tell me the step wise process.

If it is not possible in system then where i need to make customization?????

    It might not be possible. You would Transfer the items to A first..

    Transferring the item to another location is not allowed in the client's business process......

    Then how can you possibly reserve an item at one location when it is required at another? You could never get the stock to where it needs to be shipped from.

    Ask the client to change the location code on sales order to location B, if they can't transfer it, then you'll be able to reserve it.

    Modifying the system would be a major task. I would avoid it at any cost.

    do not make any customization for this. change your bussines..

    if you want to sell items from location A, you will eventually have to transfer items from location b. right? so, create a transfer order from location B to location A early and reserve item by using this transfer order..
