How to take the navision backup automatically???

Hi,
Iam using Navision native database. Now i want to take the backup automatically by using navision code not the backup tools.

I want to take the backup and tht backup will store on another drive(like D).

Is it possible to take the backup with out 3rd party tools???

There is the hotcopy.exe dos-command you can use. This is standard Navision.
You can create a .cmd-file with the command in it and you can call this .cmd-file from within Navision.

Well, "Hot Copy" is not exactly a backup feature - that's why it's called "Copy": it copies the complete database to a remote location.

A real backup - a native FBK - could be created automatically by using the Backup Utility of ExpandIT: http://www.expandit.com/
