Can't save and compile due to commit-cache

staunfeldtstaunfeldt Member Posts: 5
Hi, When I try to Save Changes I get a box telling me that the commit-cache is temp. filled up. Then it starts counting and nothing happens.

I have tryed through Tools --> Properties to change commit-cache to no, and also tryed to change the values of Object-cache and DBMS-cache.

We have never seen this problem before, anyone who knows whats wrong?

OS: Vista Nav: 4,03sp

Thanks Brian

Did you install the Vista-upgrade (or later) for 4.00SP3?

How can I save my work before I install the upgrade?

You can only save it to a textfile.
To be good, you should save the object on which you are working every 10 to 20 seconds. I do it even more!

To fast save an object, use the shortcut-keys : "ctrl-s".
