question regarding sales invoice

Hi

Under Posting and Print button in posting on a sales invoice in sales & receivable. Is it possible to control the printer tray to which the print out print from? cause it does not seem to give me an option.

Oh and if there is, is it possible to set a specific printer tray to be default?

yes it's possible. Run Printer selection table, and you can setup which report should print to what printer, you can even make it user specific

what version are you on? In 4.x and 5.0 it's
Administratotion->Application Setup->General->Printer Selection.

I'll post another one if you are on 3.x

My guess it's in General Ledger->Setup->Printer selection, but can't remember 100 percent have to lookup.

Haven't used 3.x in ages.

I guess there are a few ways.

One would be creating copies of your printer with different names in windows
For Example
Printer-Top Tray
Printer-Middle Tray
Printer-Bottom Tray

Each one setting the Printing Defaults to a different tray. The assign your printer as stated above.
