A crashing 3.60 client.

One of our users has an issue around 3PM every once in a while where there FIN.EXE crashes and closes their client. When this happens they have to reset all of their customized columns etc. Are these being set on the client like I suspect and something is either not being saved or getting corrupted and they are having to rebuild them each time because of this?

This user is at a remote office and I understand the issue of a crashing client and what that can do to the DB and I am working to figure out what could be causing this to happen but this side effect was just interesting to me and I thought I would ask about it.

    well you can make a backup of the zup file and then restore it. As far as the reason for crashing, you could do an exe update.
    Also what is he usually doing at 3 pm? are there other application he is running at 3 pm? If he is a remote user, then this is happening on citrix/RDP server. check the even log. What kind of error do you see in there for fin.exe?
