Navision shows incorrectly some characters Spanish

mromeromromero Member Posts: 20
Hello everybody,

Suddenly my Navision 4.0SP3 Client in Spanish shows incorrectly some characters in the menu of the application. It's installed since 6 months so I can´t understand what happend. I´ve tried to unistall and install again, but the problen is still there. I´ve tried to modify too the language configuration of my notebook but nothing. Therefore Navision is the only apllication in my computer that has the problem.

I would like to attach an image of my interfaz so you can see what I´m talking about.

For example, some literals are:

CRONUS Espa¤a S.A.
Avenida Arag¢n, 5
Distribuci¢n muebles
N§ tel‚fono

And so on.

Any help, please? I´m thinking in format my notebook but I want to left it as my last chance.

Regards.

Did you checked that on Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Advanced, your local language is selected (e.g. Spanish (Spain)) ?

Are you one of many users on this database ?

If so have you checked with other users to see if they experiance the same issue, if so it may be something on the server end

    Hello

This issues was discussed in another thread. I think it was in Dynamicsuser.net

The solution was to run table 2000000061 User Menu Level. Filter for the specific user. Delete the record. Login with a different client and see it fixed. Then close the first client and then close the second client.

Thank you for your responses, but I´m the unique user and the installation is in local, it is my notebook, it isn´t a client-server installation.

    Any idea?

delete the records and then close the client.

If this doesn't solve it then delete the record and then kill the client.

Thanks again, but it is still broken.

Furthermore, in the next url you can see what happend to all my clients, also without any BD open. The Navision menu bar is also affected.

This could be a font issue. Have you recently changing anything on your OS?

Have you checked with you MBS partner ?

There is a reported issue with the ES version, check KB base.

You might get more help with better use of "Subject" on you post.
