My recommendation is don't waste your time on turn on the usage based procurement in version 2.6. It's been re-written a couple of times so anyone who has any knowledge on this has either forgotten it or is dead. O:)
Standard Navision needs to build Forecasting process to MRP for purchased goods. Right Now you have the production Forecast Entry, which works for produced items, but it doesn't for Sold items.
One main reason why doesn't work is that if you loose a sale MRP will advise that you've recoup the sale in the future and will suggest to purchase it.
They are releasing some changes to MRP in Sp1, but no details on what the changes are.
