Hello,
I want to import data located in a CSV file directly into Axapta modifying existing records, is this possible as I can's see any option other than to delete table content before import which is not what I want to do I want to modify certain fields in certain records.
Can I do this using a definition group or would you recommend another way ?.
Cheers

Hi,
Definition group provides ability only to export and import data. For updating data, you might want to write some simple Ax jobs.
You have to be careful if you want to delete table content before and run definition group. There are too many risks including waste of record Id (this will be more critical in Ax 3.0 systems), corrupting transactions etc.
