can anybody tell me, if there is a way to export a blob as an text-file?
cause i want to export the value of the "object reference"-field of the table 2000000001 (objects).
thanks in advance!

Hi,
No, i dont think you could export a blob field. I tried it before and never succeeded. It always filled out a blank when tried to export a blob field.

Suresh.

It's possible with use of the streamin and streamout commands.
Try it, if you need help just post!

Before you call the BLOB field's EXPORT method, you must perform a CALCFIELDS or nothing will be exported.
