NAV Backups shuts down Job Scheduler

We have just installed the Job Scheduler granual and are setting up scheduled task to run nightly. The issue that we are having is with unattended backups. When backups are run, we are automatically stopping the NAV services and restarting them after the backup is completed. Doing this causes a problem with the Job Scheduler on the client (which gets disconnected). To get it working again, the client and job scheduler must be restarted. Since Backups happen during the middle of the night, no scheduled jobs are processing after backups start. Help!

How can we run a complete unattended backup successfully and keep the Client/Job Scheduler running? We are running NAV 4.0 SP1.

I've searched the web and found something called 'HotCopy' but haven't been able to determine if this is for NAV 4.0 and nothing on how to use it. Anyone know where I can learn how to get HotCopy and how to use it?
