//Clear the form Clear(FormVariable); //Set the parameter FormVariable(PassParameter); FormVariable.Runmodal;
Comments
I've done this by creating a function on the form that takes the field(or record).
Then I create a variable of the form on the a different form that I am using to create the parameter.
I pass the parameter to the form and then I run the form (usually modal).
You can also use the form variable after the form is run to get data back from the form...
if you wanted to check for a response on the form, you might be able to use something like
OK := FormVariable.RUNMODAL = ACTION::Yes;
if OK then
...do something
Hope this helps.
