4.0 sp 0 to 5.0

Hi Mibuso peoples,
I'm going to be upgrading a lightly modified 4.0 database to 5.0. Is there any reason I need to first bring it to SP3? Can I just skip straight to 5.0?

At this moment I am having major issues with a customer migrated from 3.7 to 5.0 via 4.0SP3.

Yes, it is faster, but only if you run the clustered index fix on the download site. Otherwise 5.0 will rebuild every index.

Hopefully the issues at my customer are related to the maintenance which has not been active for over 30 days. Somehow it stopped.
